Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Cubist White Gold Mercury Glass Lamps

About the Item

This stunning pair of table lamps were handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature sculptural cylindrical bodies that taper on each end with faceted surfaces in a reflective, mirror like white gold mercury glass. The diamond form facets imbue the lamps with a cubist sensibility that recalls Art Deco design, while appearing unmistakably contemporary. With their monochromatic palate, and beautiful glass quality, these table lamps are as versatile as they are beautiful, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. Dimensions: Height: 27" x Diameter of Shade: 14" / Diameter of Body: 5.5".
