"Nastro" Lamp designed by Alberto Fraser for Stilnovo, introduced in 1983
The flexible multicolored pvc stem contains both structural and electrical elements. It can be positioned/bent in all directions and stems from a polycarbonate weighted base.
Alberto Fraser was born and raised in Glasgow, as the son of a Scottish father and Italian mother. He studied architecture and industrial design in the United States. He now lives and works in Milan where he has established his company Design Works. He has a specific interest in light, which has resulted in many designs for lightning and light installations.
