This Light has a white beige lacquered metal base and features the original typical formed shade of this light base. the base has a marking by the Hans Agne Jakobsson company (HAJ).
This item is in its all original condition with slight traces of use and patina. some patina and discoloration around the switch element on the stand (pease see images).

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
