Pair of French modern mercury glass & applied geometric macassar orb lamps
France, Circa 1960s
Offered for sale is this stunning pair of substantial French modern lamps. The design is superlative, reflective in a subtle and flattering way.
Each lamp is crafted of slightly distressed mercury glass, with applied geometric metal edged Macassar Ebony or mahogany strips. Raised on a conforming polished chrome pedestal base.
New wiring and socket has been added to each lamp. Original socket cover still used (will happily upgrade if requested).
Each lamp stands 21-Inches high to the socket, 18.75 Inches high to the finial, 13.5” wide and 8” wide at the base.
