Pair of 1950s Biomorphic Abstract Decorated Ceramic Lamps
About the Item
A smart looking pair of abstract decorated 1950s ceramic table lamps in the manner of Yasha Heifetz or Marianna Von Allesch. High gloss chartreuse glaze with a biomorphic abstract motif on a tapered cone shaped ceramic body. Original working wiring. Circa 1950-60. Good overall condition with very minor crazing of the glaze. No visible chips, cracks, hairlines, or structural damage. No restorations or repairs. The wiring is in good condition. Harps included. Shades not included.
Approximately 30.5" high from base of the lamp to the finial. The approximate dimensions of the ceramic body are 17.75" high x 7.5" diameter at the base.
