Pair of French 19th Century Charles X St. Bronze and Ormolu Candlestick Lamps
About the Item
A striking pair of French 19th century Charles X st. patinated bronze and ormolu candlestick lamps. Each lamp is raised by an elegant circular base with a fine mottled border, Coeur de Rai band, and superb richly chased spiraled foliate designs. The fluted patinated bronze baluster shaped central supports display beautiful finely chased foliate designs at the base and lead to the elegantly curved candle cups above also displaying fluted designs and reeded wrap around bands at the border.
