A pair of French 19th century Charles X st. candlestick lamps
About the Item
An elegant pair of French 19th century Charles X st. Ormolu and Tole candlestick lamps. The pair are raised on circular bases with spiral reeded bands separated by a burnished band. The circular tapered fut is elegantly decorated by a charming weaved and lattice design leading to the candle cup also decorated by the same weave pattern. The wax candle leads to the dark green and gilt Tole adjustable shade with a handsome arrow head and hoop above.
