About the Item
A most elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and tole bouillotte lamps. Each lamp is raised by three fine topie shaped feet below the circular base decorated with a lovely fluted and foliate design. The most decorative baluster shaped central supports display reeded designs, finely chased palmettes, and floral wrap around bands. Above are the original green tole shades with fine gold tooled foliate wrap around bands which are adjustable in height and are secured with beautiful fletchings. Above is a beautiful floral final.
