The lamps feature green wood bases and white glass shades in cubic shapes. * A pair (2) of green wood and white glass cubic night/desk lamps * Designer: Svend Aage Holm Sørensen * Producer: Holm Sørensen & Co * Model: 4151 * Year: est. early 1960s * Condition: Good vintage condition. Makers labels intact. White glass shades in fine condition and wood bases with tear-off in the paint. * Dimensions (H x W): 20cm x 10cm * Cubic sizes - bottom and shade (H x W): 10cm x 10cm * Light source: E14 screw bulbs, max 25 W * Mounted with approx. 2 meter gray cords with switches. * The listed price is for the pair (2) ********* Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) was a Danish industrial designer and architect educated from he Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, who made significant contributions to the development of modernist design in Denmark. Holm Sørensen's designs were characterized by their simplicity, elegance, and functionality, and he was particularly known for his work in lighting design. He was a true master of modernist design, and his work was characterized by his experimental approach to materials and form.
