About the Item

A pair of Italian carved giltwood fragments from the 19th century made into table lamps and mounted on custom lucite bases, wired for the USA. Created in Italy during the 19th century, each of this pair of fragments is made of giltwood with slight red undertone, carved with gadroons, twisted motifs and acanthus leaves. A single brass socket emerges from the top, the fragments have indeed been made into table lamps. The lamps have been professionally wired for the USA with quality parts and are ready to be plugged in. The ensemble has been mounted on a custom round lucite base whose transparent quality compliments the golden tones beautifully. With their graceful silhouette and skillful carving, this pair of Italian 19th century fragments made into table lamps will bring a touch of undeniable elegance to any home, placed on the top of bedside tables, on an enfilade or on a console table.
