Antique Louis Comfort Tiffany Studios Leaded Art Glass Landscape Window New York
Located in Portland, OR
A highly important monumental American Arts & Crafts landscape window, attributed to Tiffany & Co, New York, Circa 1910.
The window having a border with textured gold tone tiles, the background is composed of variegated blue glass, with a mountain range made of variegated dark brown glass. To the center is a fairytale castle with a body of blue water to the background. The castle having a pathway of textured glass and walls of golden colored glass tiles. The landscape is framed out with a pair of ivory colored columns festooned with trailing ivy. The panel is housed is a substantial wooden frame.
Condition is very good, there are no cracked tiles, there are a few tiles that have been historically lead lined, the panel is in very good condition indeed.
Whilst we have not located a Tiffany signature...

This colorful lamp made by Wilkinson as a graceful floral border of orange, green, yellow and purple tiles. The upper geometric brickwork design section is comprised of yellowish-green tiles. The handsome base is factory patinated in a rich dark green. With 3 original sockets this lamp can offer plenty of light besides the obvious aesthetic pleasure. For authentication we suggest you refer to "Mosaic Shades Vol II" by Paul Crist, page 268 where several similar examples of our lamp our photographed. While our lamp is unsigned, we guarantee it to be made by Wilkinson and from the period.
The lamp is in remarkable condition. Most of these leaded glass shades have multiple hairline cracks, which is totally acceptable. We could hardly find a single heat crack on this lamp.
