Sculptural Table Lamp by F.A. Porsche Lucitalia Chrome Metal Black Plastic 1980s

About the Item

Sculptural modern table lamp designed by F.A. Porsche in 1989 and manufactured by Kandido for Luci Italia. The telescopic halogen table lamp has a casted aluminum black enameled base with an integrated oversize circular ON / OFF rotating switch with two intensity level, car antenna stems with chromed solid brass articulated joints on base and head that permit to sculpt different compositions. The triangle shade is made of black plastic and an aluminum head diffuser. The table lamp takes a two pin halogen light bulb (max. 50 wattage / 12 voltage) to illuminate. Wiring and switch are perfect, so it is fine working and ready to use. It stays in a very good original vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The fully extended height is 85 cm / 33.46 inches, lowest height 29 cm / 11.42 inches and the triangle base measures 16 x 16 x 16 cm / 6.3 x 6.3 x 6.3 inches. The high quality light sculpture is marked at the bottom Kandido by F.A Porsche and Luci talia, additionally with green paper label. This early edition table lamp is sculptural, modern and eclectic, simply design at its best.
