Established in 2006, Morentz has a team of approximately 55 restorers, upholsterers, interior advisers and art historians, making it a gallery, workshop and upholstery studio, all in one. Every day, a carefully selected array of 20th-century furniture arrives from all over the world at the firm’s warehouse, where the team thoroughly examines each piece to determine what, if any, work needs to be done. A large ''Ponte'' (Bridge) floor lamp designed by Gruppo A.r.d.i.t.i. for Nucleo Sormani during the 1970s.
This space age lamp is made of two marble bases connected by two thin chrome stems which create a modular arc where three swiveling balls made of black and translucent Lexan stand creating a beautiful and futuristic effect.
This floor lamp is in very good working vintage condition and it retains the original manufacturer label under one of the marble base. No restoration work has been done, it is completely original.
