MONUMENTAL! TONY PAUL FOR MUTUAL SUNSET LAMP CO! TABLE OR FLOOR LAMP One of the rarest Tony Paul designs! APPROX. DIMENSIONS: HEIGHT : 29" (with bulbs) 24" (w/o bulbs) WIDTH : 12" Tony Paul designed some incredible mid century modern lamps and lighting fixtures for Mutual Sunset in the early 70s. This design is a tour de force of clean aesthetic minimalism that proves less is more! Completely uncluttered! Tony Paul uses symmetry, line and proportion to achieve an iconic design that is coveted by interior designers and design aficionados everywhere! This lamp makes a magnificent statement and captures the eye as only a Tony Paul design can! Like some futuristic skyscraper this lamp soars up with three tiered tubes all crowned with large globe light bulbs that produce copious amounts of interior light. This is a design that can light up a whole room if necessary! Elegant as well as modern, this design is timeless! This lamp is a work of art. It looks as contemporary today as it did nearly half a century ago! This example has the coveted white enamel finish - which goes with every color scheme and decor! Lamp is in very fine vintage condition. Only very light wear to rare white enamel. The sockets are porcelain and the lamp has an amazingly well preserved switch that turns on the lamp. Original Mutual Sunset manufacturer label intact. This gorgeous lamp will be the star of any distinguished interior, whether it be in you NY penthouse, CA case study home or Palm Springs atomic ranch!
