About the Item
A wonderful and stylish Waylande Gregory style gilt and etched ceramic table lamp, hand decorated with two fighting roosters. Although it is unsigned it shows a strong affiliation with the designer, luster gilt contrasts with frosting etch in intaglio, the body of the lamp resting on a square ebonized brass base. The lamp measures 18 1/4"-inches tall & 7"-inches wide x 7"-inches deep. The lamp dates from about the mid-1950s.
