Doggy Lamp by Wan Wan Wonderland (Tokyo, Japan) Delightful and whimsical table lamps with white pleated shades and expertly hand-crafted wooden bases. Each lamp is handcrafted by WAN(of WAN WAN WONDERLAND), an artist and dog lover, at her woodworking atelier in Tokyo, Japan. The stylized wooden bases are assembled with a combination of different hardwoods such as cherry, ash, and oak. The head of the dog on each lamp is designed to pivot for extra cuteness. The lamp is assembled with brass hardware and wired with a black cord with an in-line switch. White pleated lampshade included. Please contact about customization. WAN: My father is an architect, so I wanted to become a person who makes things since I was a child. I also do furniture repair, and old furniture designs I've repaired are a big source of inspiration. I recently realized that incorporating a dog into my design brings out the best in me, because I love dogs. The dogs I pass by on the street and my pet dog TEN, are very important to my work.
