About the Item

Extraordinarily rare and stunning pair of vintage ceramic table lamps by ceramist Carl Cunningham Cole for Kähler and Le Klint. Made ca 1960s to 70s. The sculptural lamps are very tall. They are made of stoneware with a structured surface and have a sand colored glaze with yellow and purple. The lamps were made in a collaboration with the ceramic workshop Kähler (HAK) and Danish lampshade manufacturer Le Klint. They originally came with Le Klint´s typical pleated lampshades. The lampshades are not included but they can be requested. Both lamps are marked on bottom with HAK (for Hermann August Kähler). Condition: Very good vintage condition. No remarks. Measurements: Height with socket: 57 / 56,5 cm Height without socket (ceramic part including brass top only): 49,5 / 49 cm (19.49" / 19.29") Diameter ceramic base: 18 cm / 16,5 (7.09" / 6.50") Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamps are made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use adapters or exchange it with plugs used in your country.
