About the Item
The Varenna glass convex wall mirror is fabricated from 6mm low iron glass for extra clarity. Verre églomisé is from the French term meaning glass gilded, is a process in which the back side of glass is gilded with gold or metal leaf. In one of a number of related processes, the metal is adhered using a gelatin adhesive, which results in a mirror reflective finish. We use 24 carat red gold leaf.
The mirror is 80 cms in diameter and held in position with four matching wall fixings. The projection of the mirror is 6 cms.
We also offer this mirror in other diameters.
We can also fabricate these mirrors in an array of precious metal leaf to suit your requirements.
