END OF THE 18th CENTURY NEOCLASSICAL MIRROR WITH CORNUCOPIAS AND OLIVE BRANCHES
About the Item
Beautiful and elegant neoclassical mirror in carved and gilded pine wood with pure gold leaf. The cymatium features decorations that recall abundance and peace, with cornucopias and olive branches. The upper termination of the cymatium is instead bow-shaped, above a mirrored oval. The frame also recalls classical metopes, and in the upper part there is a retro-painted mirror fillet with olive branches. Finally, the mirror ends with two feral paws. The mirror is original and mercury embossed. This elegant, high-quality mirror is able to give a touch of refinement and nobility to any space. Italian manufacture from Lucca, from the Louis XVI period to the end of the 18th century.
