French Empire Cheval Mirror

About

A fantastic example of a mid-19th century cheval mirror in the First Empire style. Two round columns surmounted by covered, gilded bronze cups support the curved and beveled mirror, decorated with gilt rosettes. Rich mahogany veneers with a deep mirrored finish are further accented by bronze mounts at base.
