A large scaled Italian early 19th century Baroque st. Walnut and Giltwood mirror
About the Item
A stunning and large scaled Italian early 19th century Baroque st. Walnut and Giltwood mirror. This most impressive mirror is set within a richly carved pierced Walnut foliate frame with an exceptionally detailed Rocaille pattern throughout. Elegant and large scale acanthus leaf movements surround the interior of the frame and are accented with Giltwood flowers and scrolls. Wonderful pierced and scrolled protruding acanthus leaf reserves decorate the top and bottom of the mirror, while displaying the same Giltwood scrolls.
