About the Item
An exquisite table mirror by renowned sculptor Celestino Gallinaro, a master of the Padovan school, crafted in the 1950s. This delicate piece features a frame of hand-hammered and decorated brass, showcasing Gallinaro's artistry and attention to detail. The soft pink glass mirror has developed a visible patina over time, adding depth and character to its already captivating presence.
A very small chip on the upper edge of the mirror further enhances its story, a testament to its journey through the decades. This imperfection, subtle and unobtrusive, transforms the piece into a unique artifact steeped in history.
Provenance: Originally from an elegant villa nestled in the Euganean Hills, Padua, a region celebrated for its rich artistic heritage.
