About the Item
This oval vanity mirror is decorated with a large 23-inch ceramic female figure statue with Art Nouveau floral patterns. A large tray in front of the mirror is decorated with an organic leaf pattern. The tray can hold jewelry or small hand towels. This pedestal was designed and sculpted by German potter Hans Kieweg for the Porzellanfabrik Fraureuth Porcelain company. Hans Kieweg was the staff artist for Fraureuth which had one of the highest standard porcelain factories in turn of the century Germany. Singed "H. Kieweg" along the side and stamped with the "Fraureuth" crest along the bottom.
