Large Louis XV Trumeau in Gray Lacquered Wood
About the Item
Large gray lacquered wood paneling trumeau composed of a large mirror and a gouache on canvas decorated with floral bouquets, a butterfly and a central ornament featuring intertwined ribbons probably representing a monogram (interlaced double L's joined by an O ??) or coat of arms (traces of signature).
Trumeau composed of old elements from the 18th century (frames and moldings), reworked in the 19th century (mirror, back parquet and canvas) for a castle in Medoc.
Nice dimensions.
Good general condition: note significant imperfections in the mirror (can be changed on request).
