18thC Antique small Wall Mirror very good detail, English Circa 1770

About the Item

This is a fine quality English Wall Mirror of small proportions, dating to the second half of the 18th century, George 111rd period, circa 1770. The mirror is well constructed with a hardwood veneered frame, veneered on pine. This mirror has many fine features; 1) Small proportions 2) Cross banded sides to the front as per Chests of this period. 4) Boxwood line inlay to front outer edges. 5) Hand carved (fretwork) cresting pediment to top rail We date this mirror to the second half of the 18th Century, George 111rd period circa 1770. The small size of this mirror enables it to fit in virtually any room of the house. The back has a brass ring for hanging.

    This is a very good hand-blown, English, mid-Georgian, Wine drinking glass with a round funnel (RF) engraved bowl on a solid stem, dating to the middle of the 18th century, circa 1760. These glasses are very collectable. It is made from English lead glass which is relatively heavy and has a soft grey colour. The RF (round funnel) bowl is well engraved with OXO under rim and a facet cut bowl base, sitting on a a solid stem, over a conical foot with a snapped off pontil below to the underside.
