About the Item

A very handsome centennial Constitutional, Chippendale style looking glass / pier mirror showing an old if not original rectangular plate set within solid mahogany moldings on a mahogany veneered frame, the pediment showing a hand carved & gilded eagle finial flanked by an architectural ‘broken pediment’, sided by hand carved giltwood pendants that terminate to a shaped skirt. The detachable eagle allowing for ease of transport. IMPORTANT NOTE: For all interested U.S. & Overseas clients, we are currently in the process of establishing a means to expedite the process of obtaining the necessary CITES export permit required to ship items constructed of mahogany - whether in part or in whole, to both United States & overseas clients. That being said, at this point it may take upwards of several weeks or possibly months to obtain the necessary CITES Export permit.
