About the Item
An exceptional and most elegant French 19th century Regence st. Napoleon III Period Ebony and Ormolu mirror. This lovely double framed mirror is centered by a pierced Ormolu inner border which is accented at each corner with large Ormolu scrolled foliate mounts. The side mirrors are wonderfully cut and etched with foliate designs and an exterior thin border. The exquisite and uniquely shaped top crown displays an etched mirror bordered with pierced scrolled Ormolu foliate mounts. All original etched and cut mirror plates.
