Illuminated Mirror Round Yellow White Perforated Stilnovo Sarfatti Style, 1950s
About the Item
Stunning midcentury round Italian backlit wall mirror executed in the 1950s with attribution to one of the famous companies and designers Stilnovo, Arteluce and Sarfatti. The circular illuminated mirror which has a total width of 47 cm / 18.50 inches, bevelled mirror glass 36 cm / 14.17 inches and a depth of 6.5 cm / 2.56 inches, has a inside white, outside yellow enameled perforated metal base and frame. It takes four E14 standard screw bulbs to illuminate and to achieve a great warm glowing effect when lit. Cleaned with love the beautiful mirror stays in a very good original vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, partly minor loss of paint. Wiring is perfect so the lights are in fine working order. This mirror which is best midcentury design is made of high quality and best materials. It is a beauty and an eye-catcher. It would be a perfect addition and upgrade to interiors with designs by Gio Ponti, Eames and Juhl.
