Italian Early 19th Century Giltwood Mirror with Original Mirror Plate
About the Item
A lovely and unique Italian early 19th century giltwood mirror. The original mirror plate is framed within a branch like giltwood border with wonderful movement. The bottom is centered by two branches coming together and overlapping with large oak leaves at the corners. At each side are grape clusters amidst oak leaves. The impressive and decorative top crown is adorned with many large richly carved oak leaves. All original gilt throughout.
