Late 19th C Gold and Green Italian Carved Mirror

About the Item

Beautiful late 19th century mirror. Deep carved frame, heavy wood, possibly walnut, with gold and duck egg green finish. Probably Italian, with later glass. The back bears the remains of old French newspaper, so it has travelled north in the last century. Original metal hanging loop to the rear of the frame, with some age related wear and decorative patina. A true interiors piece. Measures: 75cm height, 52.5cm width, 4cm depth, mirror plate 47.5cm height, 36cm width. All our items are genuine antique/vintage pieces and therefore can have some signs of age related use or wear, this adds to the character and uniqueness of each of them. We try to give accurate measurements wherever possible, however where items are unusual shapes pls trust our approx dimensions to be as close as possible.
