About the Item
A very architectural pair of French 19th century Empire St. Mahogany and Ormolu mirrors. The pair of mirrors display mirror plates flanked by two Mahogany columns. The columns have a bottom block plinth below an Ormolu rosette and a top richly chased Ormolu capital. The two columns support a top pediment with a mottled raking cornice accented by a central Ormolu mount at the tympanum of a laurel wreath with a tied flowing ribbon at the bottom.
