Pair Of Italian 19th Century Neo-Classical St. Mahogany And Giltwood Mirrors
About the Item
A handsome and extremely decorative pair of Italian 19th century Neo-Classical st. Mahogany and Giltwood mirrors. This wonderful pair of rectangular mirrors has their original mirror plates surrounded by recessed Mahogany frames. The four corners of each mirror are decorated with Mahogany blocks with beautifully carved Giltwood rosettes. The stunning top crown is made of flowing tied Giltwood ribbons, laurel vines, and crossed torches of the eternal flame which flank the centrally placed Giltwood profile of a male figure.
