Rainbow Fluted Arch Mirror

Ian C.R. Martin is an artist and designer based in Los Angeles. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Sculpture from the New York Academy of Art, and has worked for over a decade as an interior designer while maintaining his studio art practice. The ongoing Glyph & Mirror series showcases Martin's distinct approach to form through the use of concentric lines and interlocking shapes. His inspiration stems from in depth study of ritual objects and cross-cultural architecture, which synthesizes his sculpture and design background. Experimentation with materials and atypical mold making techniques are central to his creative process.
