This beautifully restored 1948 new-stock rattan frame is from the unused stock of Tropical Sun Rattan Company of Pasadena. The Mirror features a 7-strand stacked rattan frame with a 28" tall mirror in the center with a clean, early Geometric Mid-century styling. In the 30s through early 50s, Rattan was classified as either an "A" pole or a "B" pole. A poles were the nicest looking strands and were used for the more visible parts of furniture, while B poles were used in places less visible and had signs of damage or wear. These frames are made entirely of A poles. This frame has been inspected and ensured that the quality is as good as new or as "vintage restored", all meticulously refinished to highlight the natural rattan’s warmth and durability. It is perfect for creating a stylish and cozy tropical coastal-inspired living space. In the style of Paul T. Frankl.
