A stunning and most unique true pair of Italian 19th century Louis XV st. patinated and Giltwood mirrors, from Venice. Each of these beautiful tapered mirrors retains their original mirror plates set within a charming and most elegant foliate decorated off white and Giltwood frame. Each gorgeous frame displays a richly carved floral reserve amidst scrolling acanthus leaves at the base and most decorative scrolled foliate movements leading upwards. The top crown is centered by a pierced design which is flanked by an array of scrolling acanthus leaves and blooming flowers. All original gilt and patina throughout.
Can be displayed with the mirrors tapering upwards or downward.
