Extraordinary vanity table with mirror and stool crafted from highly figured ribbon Avodire wood. Created by the Holland Furniture Company in the 1940s. Donald Deskey at this time was designing for the Baker furniture company which had just relocated their factory to Holland Michigan as well as the Widdicomb Company which was located only 30 minutes away in Grand Rapids. Clean Lined Art Deco Headboard, designed by Donald Deskey, American, circa 1930s. It retains its original espresso brown color finish in very good shape.
