Fabulous vintage Mid-Century Modern Johnson Carper Fashion Trend 4 Piece walnut bedroom set including a 6 drawer dresser, mirror, and pair of nightstands. This is a marvelous vintage Mid-Century Modern Johnson Carper Fashion Trend walnut dresser featuring six solid wood drawers with curved waterfall style solid wood pull handles and exquisite veneer fronts. Did you notice that the fabulous sides and legs are solid wood veneer and are all one piece? WOW! It also has a beautiful wood grain laminate top which is wonderfully worry-free in case someone sets a beverage on it and forgets their coaster! And although technically it is a dresser and will be awesome in your bedroom or dressing area, you could certainly use it as a credenza in the living room or a buffet or cabinet near the kitchen or in the dining room. Adorn the top with foliage, framed photos or artwork, a sculpture or lamp, or maybe even a record player and a rack filled with your favorite set of vinyl’s. Possibilities are endless. The drawers are a nice size and have ample storage for clothing, linens, and everything in between! We also have the matching mirror! It is a large rectangular mirror framed with lovely solid walnut edges, phenomenal wood grain, and it features cut out sculpted slats across the top. Edmond Spence, a renowned mid-20th century Danish modern designer, designed the Delray collection for their Fashion Trend line. The Singer Co. originally bought Johnson-Carper Furniture Co. of Roanoke in 1969 and changed its name to Singer Furniture. The company had its headquarters in Roanoke until 1994.
