About the Item
Timeless in it's design, New York Heartwoods' King-sized Walnut Perri Bed is handcrafted employing traditional joinery techniques and breaks down for easy transport and assembly. Built to last, each bed is comprised of a solid black walnut frame with bridle jointed feet, an artfully paneled wood headboard and footboard with inlaid patches captured between upright posts, and pegged solid wood slats.
The platform is 16" off of the ground.
NYH is a Hudson Valley based and fully woman-owned and operated fine furniture studio that fabricates using sustainable local wood and no-VOC hand rubbed oil finishes.
The bed is also available in California King, Queen, Twin or Full sizes; with custom headboard, footboard and platform heights; and in various wood species and finishes.

New York Heartwoods
New York Heartwoods (NYH) is a woman-owned and operated fabricator of fine solid wood furniture, using sustainable wood milled from fallen and urban Hudson Valley trees. Founded in 2011 out of our love of forests and our desire to create both beautiful timeless designs and environmental and economic solutions for our community, we impeccably craft unique heirloom-quality furniture and work closely with our clients to create custom pieces for residential and commercial interiors. NYH began as a lumber and slab producer and retailer, sourcing logs from local landowners and tree services. Requests for furniture and retail displays made with that wood soon followed. In Fall 2017, after several years of doing custom fabrication, NYH launched its first collection, some of which is showcased on this platform. With our background in wood production we additionally work with our clients to create finished products from their own trees. Overseeing the milling and drying allows us to produce the materials needed to fabricate pieces to desired specifications, and create furniture that has immeasurable value.
