Queen Sized Platform Maple Perri Bed with Live-Edge Slab Headboard
About the Item
New York Heartwoods' maple queen sized platform Perri Bed is inspired by the timeless elegance of Asian and Mid-Century Modern design. Each is handcrafted using traditional joinery techniques to create a frame that breaks down for easy transport and assembly. The bed is comprised of a live-edge slab headboard, a solid wood frame with bridle-jointed feet, and pegged poplar slats.
All is finished with a hand-rubbed no-VOC oil and wax.
Available in King (see listing LU3350322514872), California king, twin, full or custom sizes; with a straight or live-edged headboard; with drawers (pictured in pine); and in various wood species and finishes including maple, walnut (shown with 28" H headboard, see listing LU3350313451952), cherry (shown as a king with 16"H platform and Camilla Nightstands LU3350327539242), and oak.
Made in the Hudson Valley by a fully women-owned and operated furniture studio built on a love for the natural world and a passion for thoughtfully hand-crafted timeless designs.

New York Heartwoods
New York Heartwoods (NYH) is a woman-owned and operated fabricator of fine solid wood furniture, using sustainable wood milled from fallen and urban Hudson Valley trees. Founded in 2011 out of our love of forests and our desire to create both beautiful timeless designs and environmental and economic solutions for our community, we impeccably craft unique heirloom-quality furniture and work closely with our clients to create custom pieces for residential and commercial interiors. NYH began as a lumber and slab producer and retailer, sourcing logs from local landowners and tree services. Requests for furniture and retail displays made with that wood soon followed. In Fall 2017, after several years of doing custom fabrication, NYH launched its first collection, some of which is showcased on this platform. With our background in wood production we additionally work with our clients to create finished products from their own trees. Overseeing the milling and drying allows us to produce the materials needed to fabricate pieces to desired specifications, and create furniture that has immeasurable value.
