About the Item
Bed frame made from dark brown anodised aluminium extrusions and a woven cane head board. The shown bed is UK king size with the mattress being 35 off the ground, but all other bed sizes are available. The frame comes with slats.
Furniture designer Tino Seubert expands his acclaimed Anodised Wicker collection with the addition of a new bed frame. Inspired by Hans Wegner's 1950s designs and Seubert's personal quest for the perfect bed, these frames beautifully combine industrial extruded and anodised aluminium with hand-woven cane wicker, creating a striking contrast of clinical precision and warm organic textures.
Seubert's bed frames are a seamless extension of the Anodised Wicker collection, capturing the essence of mid-century iconic cane designs while infusing a touch of modern sophistication. With sleek aluminum structures and delicate cane wicker, these frames embody both visual appeal and the comfort expected from high-quality furniture.
The deep brown colour applied by one of the designer's anodising partners in Switzerland ressembles luxurious dark woods. With meticulous attention to detail, these frames become the centerpiece of any modern bedroom, exuding elegance and functionality.

Tino Seubert
Tino Seubert is a product designer based in London.
When he first made his now signature wicker and aluminium stools and benches in 2018 for a show at the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield, German-born (1986, Forchheim), London-based Tino Seubert found that they opened up a whole new design philosophy for him. They became the starting point for his future projects, which all revel in the juxtaposition of the organic and the industrial and enjoy the exploration of unconventional contexts. For Seubert, the organic is often a welcoming entry point into his work, with people from different countries drawn in by familiar traditional craft elements, only to be tantalised by the clash with sleek, precise industrial design. As a designer, he thrives off an energetic participation in the processes that go into making his pieces: whether it’s wood and stonework or metal machining, electronics or anodising aluminium by hand, Seubert is always obsessively engaged with the detail of his creations.
Other headboard weaves like webbing are available.
The aluminium can also be mirror polished, powder coated or anodised in other colours.
The shown bed is UK king size, but all other bed sizes are available.
