About the Item

Exceptional, rare King size headboard designed by Jorgen Clausen for Brande Mobelfabrick, made in Denmark circa 1950/60's. The bed features a wide unadorned teak headboard, mounted on sculptural legs. The back of the bed has an oval caned insert panel, with vertical teak bars. This example is in very good, clean, ready to use condition, the legs show drilled holes at the bottom, my guess is the previous owner preferred the canned side, thus drilled holes to mount their Hollywood frame, please see images. Total W 80" x W of interior opening at base 74.5" x H 38.5" x D 2"
