About the Item
Louis XV toilet, centerpiece, moved on four sides, rooted in olive wood and panelled and filleted, moved legs, two small drawers, compartments stored under the top, Lombardy (Italy), 18th-century period, measures 70x43 cm, height 77 cm.
The cabinet has a very good state of preservation, is mostly original, and has never undergone invasive restoration.
The drawers and compartments have been upholstered in purple silk. The handles are not original from the 18th century, but are from the Art Nouveau period, first half of the 20th century. The hinges used to open the top were also replaced in the twentieth century.
The structure of the cabinet is very healthy, it has small scratches on the inside of the top.
