The marble is framed by fine molding, which rests atop the casework consisting of a drawer and cabinet door, with one having a left-handed door and the other a right-handed door. The drawers and doors are all accessed with brass knobs, and feature tailored molded framing detail. The pilasters framing the door/drawer facades are carved with laurel, while the corresponding pilasters on the back sides are simply fluted.
