Kids shell chairs, designed by Walter Papst in 1960. Very rare chairs!
Children’s chair with a plastic shell mounted onto a frame in steel tube. This chair was produced in various heights. The shell could be mounted onto various steel tube frames and therefore used as a rocking chair, amongst other applications.
Walter Papst
Various chair models in 1958 and 1959 marked Walter Papst’s design of a stylized Rocking Sculpture (2050) that won an award at the Triennale in Milan. This was followed by a complete range of children’s furniture in fibre glass-reinforced polyester in 1960 that was also produced for Wilkhahn.
