A nice striking mantel clock on stand made by Planchon A Paris. The rich decorated case in dark Mahogany with gilt brass details looks just like boulle inlay. The clock has a Silvered dial with Roman hour numerals, minute numbers and has the origianal pierced and patinated metal hands all within an applied pierced and engraved gilt mask surrounds the entire clock face., A mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell.
