Set of Three Antique French Fencing Masks, circa 1910 Each on a Stand

The unique shape of these antique French fencing masks, circa 1910 with their wire mesh protective guards set upon heavy iron frames are here displayed effectively upon painted wooden wig stands from 19th century, France. Each French fencing mask has a similar shape defined by the addition of leather trim in different colours with the mask in the centre retaining its heavy canvas shoulder/neck guard. The unique signs of wear and passage of time embodied in each of these fencing masks is enchanting and will add a sense of texture and depth to any interior. These three masks are offered as a set.
