Hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1987 by Thomas Buchanan, this handsome, sterling silver model of a plane, is presented on a wooden stand with a vacant cartouche ideal for engraving a presentation inscription. The model measures: 9.5" (24cm) tall, by 13" (33cm) in length, by 15.75" (40cm) across the wings, and weighs 36.7 troy ounces including the base.

A one-of-a-kind important and historical aeronautical achievement presentation in the form of a lamp. Engraved on what appears to be a brass mortar shell. Presented by the Japanese government to Arthur Smith in 1916. Arthur Smith was a famous American airplane pilot during the early 20th century.

This lamp was presented by the Japanese government to Arthur Smith in 1916. Aerial exhibitionist Art Smith barnstorming Japan in 1916, 1917. A 10 year old, Honda Mamamatsucho, pedaling a borrowed bicycle over 10 miles to witness the event. Honda would later cite the experience as one of the most impressive things he"d ever seen which cemented his interest in mechanical objects and motorized vehicles that years later led to the creation of the eponymous company bearing his name.

An 1899, Bluthner grand piano with a rosewood case, decorated with Art Nouveau and Empire style elements. It was showcased at the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle. Piano bought by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in the Coronation year of 1902 to be situated in the ballroom of Malborough House. It was sold in 1936 to Major Maconochie in Bath. This piano is in great original condition having only had two previous owners. A rare opportunity to acquire a royal piano.
The piano cheek side panel is inlaid with an Art Nouveau design featuring a stylised female head surrounded by whiplash lines and foliage. Musical instruments sit centrally in the design.
