Made by Matthys M Verkuyl - Badhoevedorp, Holland. As marked to the underside of tail.
Matthijs Verkuyl worked at Badhoevedorp from 1945 to 1978.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V. is the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands. Founded in 1919, KLM is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name. In March 1960, the airline introduced the first Douglas DC-8 jet into its fleet.
