First English edition hardcover with dust jacket. 200 pp. A book on the houses of famous composers, it includes Mozart's home in Salzburg, Chopin's home in Nohant, Puccini's villa at Torre del Lago, and Verdi's Villa de Sant'Agata, along with many others. The book has 250 color illustrations of their houses filled with period instruments, mementoes, musical scores, marble busts and paintings.
