About the Item
This book which was published in 1997 features the early years of the career of John Galliano, just as his star was rising - having become chief designer at Givenchy in 1995 and then been moved to Dior in 1996 by the owner of LVMH who owned both labels. Galliano graduated from the famous design school of St Martins in 1984 and then set up his own design label before moving to Paris where he would become the darling of Parisian couture before his dramatic fall from grace - but all this was in the future. This book is about his fledgling career and the early years. This book includes a signed dedication by Galliano.
